Delta Academy

    The Dr. Betty Shabazz Academy is a Youth Enrichment Program that targets young ladies between the ages of 11 through 14.  The Academy was created out of an urgent sense that “bold action was needed to save our young females from the perils of academic failure, low self-esteem, and crippled futures”.  We encourage participants to maximize their potential by providing valuable knowledge and experiences to help make wise personal and educational choices.  A primary goal of the program is to prepare young ladies for full participation as leaders.  Additional benefits of the Delta Academy include: 

    During each rendition, the participants attend various activities over a nine (9) month period that culminates with a Closing Banquet celebrating all of the participants.
